History: The First Photo

I have always been fascinated by the history and tale of the first surviving photo. When photographers hear the sound of the shutter "click," they often take for granted the long history and development of photography. The first photograph was taken in 1826 or 1827. It is called the “View from the Window at Le Gras”  by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. The “click" time or shutter speed was 8 or more hours. It is funny to think that this experiment from a French inventor allows me to take such beautiful photos today.
